Mirror Reader Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 24, 2026
Last Updated: May 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Mirror Reader ("Mirror Reader," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Mirror Reader mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
Mirror Reader is a reading and language-learning app that provides access to public domain books, generated covers, and generated translations. Some features may be available without creating an account. Account-based features, including sync, may require sign-in by email, Google, or Apple.
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who We Are
The Service is operated by Mirror Reader.
For privacy questions or requests, contact us at: info@mirrorreader.com.

3. Information We Collect
3.1 Account and Sign-In Information

If you use the Service without registering, we may still use an anonymous user ID, installation ID, device identifier, or similar identifier to operate the Service, maintain security, remember local settings, support analytics, or enable limited sync-related functionality.

In the current version, we do not send your account information, reading progress, bookmarks, selected books, preferred language, search history, recently opened books, favorites, vocabulary words, or test results to an AI provider for the purpose of generating translations.
Mirror Reader may in the future add optional features that allow users to translate user-provided books, text, notes, or other content using AI services. If such features are introduced, we will update this Privacy Policy before or at the time those features become available, and we will describe the AI providers, categories of data processed, purposes of processing, retention practices, and user choices that apply to those features.
Generated translations may contain inaccuracies and should not be treated as official literary translations.
